If you are a movie lover like me you will want to mark your calendars for a fun event. On June 3rd, I’m going to host a Movie Madness Blogging Carnival right here at Daily Mish Mash. If it is even remotely successful, I will repeat it every month. I thought about doing it weekly but reconsidered because that seemed like a bit too much. Of course, that is always a possibility for the future.
To participate, all you need to do is write a post that has something to do with the theme of movies. It could be:
-
A review of a movie you just recently watched
-
A list of your favorite movies in a certain genre (comedies, romance, horror, etc…)
-
A video clip of your favorite movie scene
-
A movie trivia game
Really anything as long as it is related to movies. The post could be something you wrote that day or one you may have done recently that you would like to highlight.
If I can figure it out, I’ll put up a Mr. Linky and you can add your url to the list. Then go around and visit with other movie lovers. If you’ve never participated in a blogging carnival, it is a fun way to discover new blogs and make new friends.
**There may even be a door prize for those who participate, so you’ll definitely want to play along. It should be a lot of fun! (Or just another excuse to avoid doing actual work, so either way it’s all good.)

I would love to participate but I so suck at staying awake during a movie. However, I have watched TWO movies in the last week that I thought were excellent- Juno and No Country for Old Men. Maybe I could scrounge up something poetic about one of those.

Oh and the button is cute. Hey, at least you are brave enough to play with PhotoShop….I’m trying to be a real live photographer (not just play one on TV) and I can’t even muster up the courage to open the dang program!

I have such a sick obsession with Movies. Will there be popcorn and cotton candy? How about funnel cakes?
