Fine By 2009: 8 Weeks to Go!
I lost track of what week we are on so I’m switching things up to show how many weeks we have left in the challenge. I’m hoping that having more of a countdown will motivate me to reach my goals and keep me on track.
This has not been a very good week.
Eating Lots of Candy + Being Sick with a Cold – Exercise = Gained Another Pound
With 8 weeks to go, I can still reach my goal of losing 15 pounds, toning up and feeling more healthy. It will just take being consistent with my efforts.
I had 57 people comment on the original post and most said they were going to participate in the challenge, however I’ve only had about 7 or 8 people checking in each week. I’m thinking we need to rededicate ourselves to our goals.
My goal this week is to move at least 15 minutes each day. That means EVERY, SINGLE DAY!! I think when I do the whole “4 day a week” thing that it is in my procrastinating nature to wait until the end of the week and try to fit it in on those last couple of days. That just doesn’t work.
To get myself in the mood for exercising, I have decided to watch the following video everyday to help to motivate me:
I’m not really sure how much it will actually motivate me, but I will enjoy watching it EVERY, SINGLE DAY. And it does raise my heartbeat, so that is something.
How was your week? Who is still with me on this challenge? Who liked the Ryan Gosling working out video?

Got something to say?

8 weeks of turkey and stuffing, gravy and pies, and cookies… this should be a cinch

I’m still with you, even if my success is about as good as yours at this point – I think your idea to work out 15 minutes at least every day is a good one – I need to kick my own butt as well.

I’m with you too, just had a couple of bad weeks. But I comment now having just exercised and eaten grapes instead of chocolate, I’ll be posting next week.
I found that when I dropped down from every day exercising that I’d procrastinate and never do it. Naughty.
So I’m back to 20 mins every day.

Jen, I can see how it could motivate you to lose weight, just thinking about his hotness and how you want to look just right on the day you two meet. By the way, have you ever seen Lars and the Real Girl? Seriously, there is at least one scene on there with him that makes me burst my buttons and lose weight just by watching him.

I didn’t quite realize that he exercises on film so much! I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Sorry about the rough week – I find anytime I have a cold any healthy eating or exercise is a write off. Eight weeks is LOTS of time left – you can do it!!

Yep,,,me too, except I can’t blame having a cold!

I’m still ‘in’. I just refused to step on the scale today because of the stupid candy holiday and all of the candy that didn’t look good enough for the kids to eat
Maybe I can do better this week!

I’ve been hovering around the 160 mark…nothing’s changed, so I haven’t posted this week. I know this is a plateau I’ve defeated before, and once I hit 150 the pounds seem to melt off from there. It’s gettting there that’s always the hardest part.
