Friday Eye Candy–The Sugar Daddy Edition
You know what they say. Men are like wine. They only get better with age.
Well, not all of them, but these celebrity hotties surely did. With their graying hair, rugged good looks, and old fashion manners, these guy have the total package.
After looking at the comments from a few weeks ago, I see that a few names kept coming up again and again and again.
I decided to take these repeat offenders and use that to make our list of the top 10 hottest “Sugar Daddies” of Hollywood. In order to be considered a “Sugar Daddy” the guy had to be over the age of 45, be remotely successful (i.e. rich) and be very easy on the eyes.
(Yes, I know I lowered the age a bit, but I just had to so that I could put my favorites on the list. Since it is my blog, I can change my the rules whenever I feel like it. Get over it.)

Pierce Brosnan (55)–A favorite of Smellyann, Heather, Jen E, Alyson, and my friend Kate. I think his popularity has really picked up since his role in Mamma Mia (which I still haven’t seen).
So popular, that I thought he was worth two pics. One in color and one in black and white. You can thank me later.
Harrison Ford (66)–Picked by The Angel Forever, Shannon, Emily, and Alyson. I’ve never been much of a fan myself, but I’m impressed that he took on the role of Indiana Jones and I have to admit that he does look pretty hot in this picture.
Sean Connery (78)–Picked by Alyson, Kailani, Amanda, and my friend Kate. The oldest “Daddy” on our list. I know he is best known for his James Bond role, but every time I look at him I just think of that SNL celebrity Jeopardy skit with Will Farrell.
Mel Gibson (52)– I hesitated putting him on the list, since he went a bit crazy for awhile there. I think he’s decided to lay low lately because I haven’t heard him call anyone sugar t*ts in the past couple of years. Mel was picked by my friend Kate and Jane-Holly.
Tom Selleck (63)–Picked by my friend Kate, Jane-Holly, and Jenny. I think he is one of the only guys in the world that can get away with wearing a mustache and looking sexy.
Sam Elliot (64)–Picked by my friend Kate, Jane-Holly, and Carrie. He’s the only other guy who can rock the ’stache.
Richard Gere (59) –Picked by Firah, Meg. Gere has always looked like a “Sugar Daddy” to me. Even when he was only in his 30’s. I think it was the premature gray, but whatever. It totally works for him and I am really excited about his new movie, Nights in Rodanthe.
Colin Firth (48) –Oh how can Mr. Darcy be almost 50?!! This is just unfathomable to me. He would definitely be MY TOP CHOICE!!! But it looks like I’m going to have to share him with Firah.
Bruce Willis (53)–Picked by Wawa, Jean and me. I had the biggest crush on him in the Moonlighting days. My love affair with Bruce peaked when he had that song and video, Respect Yourself. I taped it off of VH1 and would watch it over and over again. He is still a hottie, but I want to give him props for the really mature way he has handled the divorce and subsequent remarriage of his ex-wife Demi Moore. Super classy!
George Clooney (47)–Last, but definitely not least, I bring you the pick of Marie, Carol, Kailani, Amanda, and me. There is no doubt about it. George Clooney is one handsome guy. Even though he just barely makes the cutoff for this list with his age, I can see that he will be a favorite older celebrity for many years to come. His looks are timeless and he just oozes sex appeal and charm. Yummy!

Sadly, Daniel Craig at age 40 is not able to make the list. He’ll have to wait a few more years. Sorry Alyson and Jane-Holly.
For this week’s Aloha Friday question, I would like to ask you who your favorite NFL hottie would be. I’m going to make up a “Reasons to Watch Football” list and I desperately need your help putting it together. I’m really not a big fan of football since the guys are so covered up with all their gear, but I know there have got to be some cuties underneath all those pads and helmets.

I love me some football guys, but although Tom Brady is probably the hottest, I don’t really like him ever since he ditched his girlfriend right after he got her pregnant.

You’ve just made my Friday - what a nice treat to look forward to every week. And as far as football goes - you HAVE to put Brady Quinn (Cleveland Browns) on the list. He’s got the boyish charm, tousled hair, and god - the body on that boy - WHEW! Enough said.

Great List! All verrrry hot. As for football, I know NOTHING about the sport. Zero. But I do know the name Tiki Barber. Does he still play or is he just a commentator? He is SOOOOOOOOOO fine.
I don’t know about any guys in the NFL, but I was so glad to see two of my 3 favorite Hollywood hotties on your list! I’m guessing keanu Reeves is not quite that old. He is my number one. Pierce Brosnan and George Clooney are the other two. Other than that, I’m not crushing on anyone Hollywood.
You described George Clooney perfectly. He DOES ooze sex appeal and charm. He is my top pick!
As far as football players…my personal favorites are Tom Brady and Brett Favre. Both hotties!
Except for Richard Gere (I think he’s one of those sloppy, slobbery kissers…you can totally see it in the movies…and he seems like he would use way too much tongue), I like your list.
Oh Pierce, you didn’t ruin it for me in Mamma Mia. If anything, I lust over you more now than ever! Yes, your singing was really cheesy and laughable, but the rest of you in that movie was just pure hotness. NFL players…. being that football is my most favorite sport you would think that I would have a lot of players to list, right? WRONG! I watch it for the sport, not for the guys. Since Brett is still playing, we can definitely put him in the “hotness” category. Tiki is retired, so I don’t think he should make the list - sorry. But his brother Ronde can. Also retired is Troy Aikman who is so hot. Not the sharpest tack in the drawer, but who cares! I had to mention him that I could picture him
And his former teammate Darryl Johnston was pretty cute too. Kyle Boller should probably make the list from my Ravens - even though he sucks! He is still hot. And yes, I’ll overlook his little trist with Tara Reid b/c of how cute he is. Others I’ve heard people think are cute are Peyton, Eli, Ben Roethlisberger, Tony Romo, Reggie Bush, Jason Taylor, Brian Urlacher, Adam Archuleta, Will Demps and Jake Plummer. T.O. is pretty hot, but can anyone get over his major ego? Not sure. And yeah, Tom Brady is probably everyone’s number 1 (except Jen’s!) and mine. Again, his ego is not attractive. And since this is Jen’s blog (as she stated a few times throughout her blogging career) and I’m her friend, I know who number one will be - even if he gets no other votes 
Mr. Darcy is my boo. For sho! Around here football is soccer (I’m in Southern California or as I like to think of it Mexico). Anywho Soccer players are way hotter than anyone in the NFL. I like Cristiano Ronaldo and Becks of course.
So ironic… I was thinking of this the other day. Colin Firth is going to get old.

When I met him he was 45, and amazing… But then, (and I can’t explain why) 45 and 50 seem different… BUT 60 seems worse, so I guess we’ve got time.
Thanks for that eye candy! I’d have to say that Pierce Brosnan and Sean Connery are my favorites! As for the NFL players, I can’t help you there because I’m not a sports spectator in any way, shape or form. I’ll have to check out your “reasons to watch football” list when you’re done.

Tiki Barber, Kurt Warner, Tom Brady (of course), Bryan Kehl (just got drafted to the NY Giants), and I do love a good pic of Adam Vinatieri (mostly I love his talent).
I had a feeling you would ask about football players soon..or at least hoped you would.
I am what you would call an expert on that area..at least for a girl.

-Tony Romo is pretty hot, though he tends to be distracted during playoffs when his Jessica is around.

Sorry, I’m not much of a football fan. My husband LOVES it though, you’d think I’d at least know a name or two from it being on our TV constantly…I couldn’t tell you the name of anyone but Joe Montana…he was pretty cute once upon a time, right?
