House Hunters

According to a source of Perez Hilton, Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling were spotted at a real estate office in Sherman Oaks, CA.

Of course I had to tell my husband the great news.  Here is how our conversation went yesterday:

Me:  Guess what?!  Oh my God!  You are never going to believe this!

Him:  Rachel and Ryan got married. (Total matter of fact voice-No enthusiasm whatsoever.)

Me:  No, of couse not. (So now I’m totally disappointed since my news wasn’t even half as good as his guess.  Damn itWhy did I even ask him to guess in the first place? ) I would have called you at work if that was the news.  I would have never been able to wait until you got home.  Are you kidding me?  Don’t you even know me by now?

Him:  (After a few minutes of watching me pout) Ok, so are you going to tell me the news?

Me: Well, it isn’t as good as the wedding, but if you really want to know.

Him: (He has learned to pretend to be interested) Of course I want to know.

Me:  Rachel and Ryan were spotted together at a Real Estate office!!  That means they might be house hunting!!  Isn’t that great?!!

Him:  That’s weird.  Why would they have to buy a house when Ryan builds his own houses?

Me:  I like the way you think.

Today’s conversation after drafting this post:

Me:  Hey, Look at this post I just wrote.

Him: (After reading the postI think you’re high.

Me:  High on the love of McGosling!!!  :)

Him: (Rolls his eyes and leaves room)

Me: (Posts picture of McGosling!)

Hmm I think I’ll visit them with a housewarming present. I’m thinking something like an Edible Arrangement and a note that reads:
Congrats on the new digs, but aren’t you Canadian? My cousin Juan couldn’t buy a home here because he’s from Mexico. Strange. There must be different rules for rich Canadian movie stars. Hoser!

    Welcome to the hood, 3boys1mommy

p.s you may want to consider filing a restraining order against http://dailymishmash.com/.

Jen I ADORE that your husband feigns enthusiasm for the McGosling’s.

    That made my day!

Haahahaa! That’s so adorable! I love how he’s embraced it instead of fighting it! Heee…and I just wish they’d get married already and spare us from this misery!

Have you ever seen Flight of the Concords? On HBO… the “fan” makes me think of you and your hubby. She just loves the band and her husband follows her around to all of their stuff, putting up with it. (Nothing else about her reminds me of you. She’s insane)
    Anyway.
It’s late and I have a headache. Forgive me.

He can build my house if you know what I mean *wink, wink*…

Sigh…Yeah, I know. That was lame.

“I think you’re high.” This comment had me falling out of my chair with laughter. You are so funny! And what a great hubby for going along and faking the enthusiasm.

LMAO My husband and I have conversations like that all the time, minus the McGosling part. So it’s pretty much me babbling and him rolling his eyes. :P

Wow – how exciting! I’d love to be their real estate agent–I wonder how long it takes to get certified? . . .

Oh I love how your brain works!! What wonderful breaking news this is. I was coming on here to tell you that today I watched the Notebook and fell deeper and deeper in love with them. If that was even possible!

AND your new layout looks so fabulous!!! I was a little taken a back when I first landed on your blog. I was all like “what happened and where did my Mish Mash go?”. But then realization set in and a sigh of relief was exhaled. It is you only fancier. Loves it!

2nd… OMG!!!!! McGosling (great name btw!) are (maybe?) moving in together!! YAY! Love the conversation w/ your husband… too funny!!! You crack me up!! Can’t wait till the wedding… err the house decision.
