It’s almost that time again. Are you ready for some Movie Madness fun? This month’s carnival will be held this Tuesday, July 1st. So, get working on your movie related posts. You may do a review of a movie you saw recently, but if you really haven’t seen anything lately worth writing about you may do a review of one of your all-time favorite movies. Or you may simply make a list of movies that you love in a certain genre. There are no rules, as long as your post is related to the theme of movies. If you are still unsure of how to play along, head on over to last month’s Movie Madness page.
Now on to the important news–the snacks! How can we have Movie Madness without the snacks. Here is this month’s giveaway:
It was generously donated by The Obsession Box Company. They have over 500 quality gifts to choose from for any age and occasion.
This Movie Madness gift basket includes:
One $5.00 Blockbuster Gift card, 5 bags of microwavable popcorn, and 4 large 8-9oz boxes of Theater candy. Everything you need for a fun Movie Night! All the items are packed in a large popcorn bucket and wrapped with ribbon! A gift the whole family can enjoy!
I’m going to give you the opportunity to enter this contest four times. Each time you leave one of the following comments your name will be entered to win:
1. Leave me a comment letting me know your favorite type of movie candy.
2. Take a look at The Obsession Box Company’s website and leave me another comment letting me know your favorite gift item. (Leave the comment on this post, but make it separate from any others so it will be counted again.)
3. Write a little blurb about the Movie Madness Carnival and giveaway on your blog and leave me another comment (on this post) letting me know that you did this.
4. Participate in Movie Madness on July 1st. All comments from participants in the MMC will be entered.
So, the more times you comment, the more times you win. Can you tell how much I love comments? The maximum amount of entries you may receive is four. I tried to give opportunities for those of you who don’t have blogs to be able to play along. The contest will be open until Thursday, July 3rd at 12pm (noon) EST and is you must be a resident of the US and Canadian to enter.
Good luck and I’ll see you back here on Tuesday for Movie Madness!

My favorite candy is and will always be goobers!
I wish someone would give me one of these gift sets! I like the tea obsession for my mother. this has that vintage look my mom loves!
Pre cap days it was milk duds.
Now that I’m half a century it would be malt balls.
I have to choose ????
The backpack is sold out sooo…the foot spa purse is a hoot !
I’m participating in a timely manner. My movie review is ….hint ? …. I enjoy this movie more than the boys do.
I love Reese’s Pieces. Not the cups (although I like those too, they cannot last me an entire movie).
My fav candy is a tie between Raisinettes and Goobers.
Oh! And I love love LOVE the Rubber Ducky Obsession Box. My kids’ bathroom is all rubber duckies. Mostly because I love them, not because the kids care so much.
Okay, I posted about your carnival and the giveaway on my blog.
My fav OGB item is the Pat the Christmas Bunny gift set. So cute, and perfect for my son!
[…] time for Movie Madness over at Daily Mish Mash! I’ll be participating in the blogging carnival again tomorrow (because Lord knows I […]
I now have a post up about the carnival and the giveaway!
Favorite movie candy: Charleston Chews — the mini ones.
I like the “Coffee or Tea Backpack” best.
My favorite candy is Mark Ruffalo. But I repeat myself.
Jen, thanks so much for the award. I am passing it on to at least two worthy Blogger Buddies.
My favorite movie candy is M & M’s. I know I’m boring, but all that chocolatey goodness-Yum Yum!
I love Junior Mints. Passionately.
I love the “New Daddy Toolbox. Too cute!

Favorite: SnoCaps … or maybe the new cookie dough things? I’ll get my post about the contest up tomorrow!
My favorite candy was your Friday Eye Candy: Wet Edition. *yum*
Raisinettes or sour patch kids are definitely my favorites - it just depends on what kind of candy mood I’m in!
ok here I go with the comments! my very favoritest type of movie candy are Twizzlers. any kind is ok but the strawberry ones are the best!
I went onto the website and looked through quite a few of the gift baskets… usually i’m not a huge fan of them, but there were some really cool ones! my favorite though (and i’m being totally honest here) was the movie one! It’s such an awesome idea!
and lastly, I did indeed link back to you on my movie madness post. the link is http://notsoextraordinary.blogspot.com/2008/06/movie-madness-kite-runner.html
and just so you know, when I installed mister linky it took me FOREVER and it was really not as easy to do as they say it is… it’s a pain in the butt!
My favorite gift on the Obsession website is this coffee/tea set. Completely impractical for me, but I love the idea of taking it someplace and sitting down to a cup of tea. When I visited Ireland, my friend’s mom did exactly that - we had real tea cups, a hot water bag filled with fresh milk, and little homemade sandwiches while sitting on The Giant’s Causeway. I’d love to do something like that again!
Favourite movie candy, HANDS DOWN is Milk Duds!
See, here’s the thing about the Duds….if the movie is pathetically bad, never fear, you can spend the rest of the time picking caramel out of your teeth!
As far as the Obsession site, having received gift boxes and baskets from them on several occasions, I am IN LOVE with the Tea Obsession Box! I’ve gotten two of them and had to hide both of the teapots because my teenager won’t quit oggling them! I told her she can have them when I die! Not before. If I dare to take them out for even a second I’m positive she’ll filch them!

McDaddy and I joined netflix again recently so I’ve been on a movie kick.
Can I just tell you we watched TWO OF THE WORST movies ever.
The Holiday and 27 Dresses.
Both picked my moi.
McDaddy said he gets to pick the movies from now on.

Favorite movie candy has to be Sour Patch Kids. I can eat them till my teeth rot!
Since I couldn’t choose a favorite basket, the Give It All seems to work best: chocolate, coffee snacks, perfect!
I’m weird like this, but I LOVE Raisinets (sp?). I just recently started eating them while eating popcorn (have to have the chocolately goodness and the salty popcorn together). I also like Rolo’s. Always, always, always with a Dr. Pepper. That’s my typical movie treats. This is the only time I’ll allow myself a soda!
I like the Star Award Movie Madness (go figure) package. If I got that, I’d stand in front of a mirror practicing my Oscar speech.
I just added my link so I could play along! I love this Carnival!
Ok, here’s the link to my post: right here
Please add me to the carnival, and I’ll be back on Wed. to read everyone else’s posts!
My favorite movie candy is, hands down, Goobers!
I like the Bathtub Champagne Holder - what a cool idea!! I read in the tub all the time and bring in something to drink, but have no where to put it without dripping water everywhere.
I love Lemonheads !!!!
I like the Anniversary Movie Madness Gift Basket
My FAVORITE movie candy is Red Vine licorice…
The Movie Gift basket is by far the best gift at The Obsession Box Company. Because movies are magic.
My favorite movie candy is junior mints. I also blogged about your lovely movie contest:)
My favorite basket would have to be the Starbucks and Hallmark one since I am addicted to Starbucks Cafe Vanilla Lite Fraps.
