September Movie Madness

This post was almost titled WordPress: Why Must You Suck So Bad?  but once again I am sending out a HUGE thank you to Heather of Desperately Seeking Wordpress.  She got my Mister Linky back up and running.  She also made my header clickable.  Aren’t clickable headers the best?  I swear, it’s the little things in life that make me happy.

If you are new to my blog or have never participated in the Movie Madness Carnival, go to this page for more information about it.

This week, I have a fun meme from Blake and his Lit Flicks challenge.

  • Are you more likely to see a movie if it’s based on a book?
  • Do you prefer to read the book first or see the movie first?
  • List one movie that was better than the book it’s based on, and one book that is better than the movie.
  • By what factors are you most likely to pick what films you see: the director, cast, writer, critics, trailer?
  • What directors/actors/writers/critics influence you the most?
  • What film do you love so much you just want to rub it all over you?

Feel free to use this meme for your post or write about any other movie related topic.

I’ll be back tomorrow with my post.

I usually watch the movie before reading the book, But I couldn’t help myself with Harry Potter, just had to read the books right away as I was hooked.

I love movie madness! While the I filled out the meme on my page, the new film I want to rub all over me is Tarsem’s The Fall. Everyone should rent this DVD!

I’ll second Blake on The Fall. I put a review up a few months back. Awesome flick.

I’ll give the Lit Flicks stuff a think, maybe post something on it. Today, marketing was on my mind, and indirectly wrote about “By what factors are you most likely to pick what films you see: the director, cast, writer, critics, trailer?” without seeing it on your list. :)
