Without the original cast I can't really see it working. And honestly for this type of movie I don't see it working. If it were a silly movie you can appreciate the randomly busting out into song, but where it's not a silly movie... there are only so many ways to make that work well. Phantom of the Opera for example - not silly, but the singing makes perfect sense. I don't see that happening here but I'm intrigued to see what they plan to do with it.
