Choose My Weight Loss Adventure: Giveaway
Before I get to the giveaway, I want to check in with my latest progress:

I’m not sure if you can make out that grainy screen but I managed to lose a whopping 0.7 pounds this week. I have to say that I’m not surprised. Even though I did well with my eating, better with my water and exercised 3 times this week, I’m still in the throes of battling my PMS demons so I didn’t expect any major loss.
I was able to try out Carmen Electra’s Fit To Strip:
Before I review this dvd I have to give a disclaimer. There is absolutely no stripping in this routine. The idea is that you are working out your body to get it prepared to strip. Either Carmen doesn’t want fatties with jiggly bits shaking their goods during her workout or she is looking out for our best interest so we don’t pull any muscles with her gyrations. I’m not sure but I’d like to give her the benefit of the doubt and say she has our best interest in mind.
I kept waiting for the point when I could stop doing crunches and start taking off my clothes, but that never seemed to happen. Darn you, Carmen Electra for tricking me.
I have to say that despite the lack of stripping, I really did like this workout. It was perfect for beginners. It was just challenging enough but not a total killer. I felt a little sore the next day but nothing too awful. It works a lot of the problem areas for women (butt, thighs and abs). It is very easy to follow along with the moves with the trainer and the 30 minutes go by very quickly.
I do feel a little cheated out of the actual striptease part of the video, so this is going to be my choice for this week:

Hopefully this one will have a little less tease and a little more strip in it.
I’m considering the following Crunch dvds for next week. Help me choose my weight loss adventure by voting in the poll below (you may have to click over if you are reading this in a reader):

Got something to say?

my question for the nutritionist: does exercise affect blood sugar?
I’ve been getting light headed if i’m not able to eat within an hour of running. i have naturally low blood sugar (fasting in the 40s).
