Choose My Weight Loss Adventure: Shocking

I was not expecting to lose any weight this week.   So when I got on the Wii Fit and saw this I have to admit that I was pretty stunned.

weight-loss-002

Apparently my Wii Fit is Mexican and was willing to forgive the fact that I ate half my weight in Don Pablo’s chips and salsa yesterday celebrating Cinco De Mayo with my Mom’s Group.

Gracias!!!

So, starting weight was somewhere around 149 and now I’m a tiny bit under 146.

This is nothing miraculous but I’ll take it.

Here is what I’m doing that I think is helping:

-Filling my plate with mostly veggies at dinner, some protein, but very little carbs.

-I can’t bring myself to completely cut out my late night snack, so I just have something around 100-150 calories.  This is a big improvement from my typical snack.

This week is going to be all about the water.  I want to flush, flush, flush the fat away.

Now as far as the exercise.  I tried a Cathe Freidrich LoMax workout on Fit TV and it was absolutely dreadful.  It was way too complicated and I found myself tripping all over the place trying to keep up with the steps.  It was definitely not for beginner’s and I think you needed to have Step workout experience to follow along.  So, I do not recommend the Cathe Lo Max workout.

Here’s what’s up for this week.  Because of your votes, I will be trying this:

Carmen Electra Fit to Strip

This should be amusing and I’m sure my husband will be making excuses to try it as well.

I’m running out of time so I’m not going to do a poll on this post.  I’ll pick my own exercise and surprise you.

Have you tried the step aerobics on the Wii Fit? I actually like it quite a bit. And yes, water does help a lot – anytime you drink water that you might have drank something else… imagine the calories saved! :)

I’m so glad you’re making progress…. because I’m still where I started. I guess, it could be worse, I could be gaining weight!

I’m pretty new to your blog, but I have to say I love your weight loss post. I would LOVE to be at your weight right now. I’ve got a little ways to go. But I’m getting there! And I do a weekly weight loss series. It’s called Extreme Makeover: Me Edition. It’s actually today, Wednesdays. You should pop over sometime and check it out.

    Have a fabulous day!

CathE will kick yo’ booty! I’ve tried to do her workouts….def. alot of sweating and (cussing) misstepping, but she will work you OUT!

I’m interested to see how the Carmen Electra DVD works…I may have to that.

Food producers see each new diet fad as a money making opportunity. low fat (sometimes) low sugar (really) and the list goes on.

    Keep up the good work…

Hahaha I *love* the Carmen Electra aerobic strip tease videos! Even though they’re pretty PG at best LOL — if you have the actual workout one with a trainer, then it’s a for real decent workout, but be careful cuz I vaguely remember pulling something in one of the weird twisty movements they want you to do. So far I’ve done the initial beginners’ routine, the actual workout session with the trainer, and the aerobic hip hop video. They’re all fairly entertaining — looking forward to hearing what you think of them! ;P
