I hope that by ‘best concert’, you mean objectively. My best wasn’t my best because it was the most amazing show I’ve ever seen. It wasn’t a ridiculously expensive show where you see a rock legend. Nope. None of that.

But, it was my first concert ever. I was in 7th grade. I wore a black and white spandex dress on my shapeless preteen body. I saw Nelson. The twins of the long, blond locks? Who needs a reminder? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHaI4uZ4oeg&feature=channel.

BAM! There it is folks. I was front and center for this one. Boo-yah!

I think the best concert I’ve seen was probably John Mayer with Maroon 5 opening – at least it’s the concert I thoroughly enjoyed the most. It was just… amazing.

I totally prefer small venues to large stadiums. In fact, and maybe it’s an age thing, my last big venue exhausted me… I get to see Joshua Radin at our Knitting Factory in November and I am ecstatic!

HAHAHA I sweat to you that Bon Jovi looked at me, pointed while singing “I”ll be there for you” and I was ready to marry him! Problem was…I was 9 years old and had to wait a few years before he could sweep me away. Ah well.

That is SO awesome that you got to go to the concert! I bet he sounded great.

You are fantastic! I am so excited for you and so know what you mean. Did the same thing one night with some girlfriends and we practically had my friend married off to the singer because he lingered on her eyes for what seemed to us, clearly long enough to fall totally in love!!!!!

OMG that is so cool and I agree if Ryan sang directly to me I’d be like that crazy girl on American Idol. Sad to say back in the day when Ricky Martin was straight I went to his concert and I swear he was looking and sing at me, my sister says it was her but whatever!
