Friday Eye Candy: Reasons to Watch New Fall TV Shows
As the days grow shorter and the weather gets cooler, my mood plunges and the dread of what’s to come sets in. Fall may be a beautiful season, but I just can’t bring myself to fully enjoy it the way most people do. To me, it is simply a prelude to the freezing cold, wretched days of winter. I despise winter.
I do have a lot to look forward to this fall (Dead Man’s Bones tour, Dead Man’s Bones tour–wooohooo!!) and the return of fall tv is one of them.
Although I try not to get sucked into watching any new shows, I do occasionally give into temptation. This season there is a ton of eye candy trying to entice me to watch.
These are the sexy guys that I may just have to check out this fall:
Joseph Fiennes in Flash Forward
Michael Rady in the new Melrose Place
Ian Somerhalder in Vampire Diaries:
(Thanks to Amy for bringing this to my attention.)
Taylor Kinney in Trauma:
One more of Taylor for good measure:
Alex O’Loughlin and Daniel Henney in Three Rivers.
Chris O’Donnell in NCIS: Los Angeles
I’m pretty sure that watching any of these guys will warm me up this fall and winter!!
What do you think?
What shows are you most looking forward to watching this fall?
What do you like best about fall? Favorite fall activity?
Which guy above would you like to hire to rake your leaves?
Check out An Island Life for more Aloha Friday fun.

Got something to say?

Don’t even know what new shows are coming out..
I love walking in the park and seeing all the fall colors…
if I had to chose, it would be Ian Somerhalder raking my leaves.

We don’t have TV at our house.

I love going up to our lake cabin in the Fall! It’s gorgeous and cool. It’s my fave place to spend time in my fave season!
Raking leaves……..okay, Josh Duhamel!
I don’t watch much tv but I imagine I will get sucked into watching The Bachelor once again…does it begin in the Fall? I hate it; I swear I do. And yet, I must watch the darn thing though I would never admit to that in public….LOL!

Seeing Tayler Kinney w/o his shirt makes me Wish I had leaves to rake! (our leaves don’t fall until the spring. very weird)
I can’t wait for just about every tv show! Pick one? Are you nuts?!!
[Reply]
Definitely Brothers and Sisters. But I also want to know what happens on Grey’s Anatomy!
[Reply]
Nip/Tuck all the way!
I like the change of the weather.
Taylor – I like the hair in the 2nd photo.

Ah, TV. A subject near and dear to my heart.
I am most excited about Flash Forward and Vampire Diaries for new shows and the return of Gossip Girl and Supernatural for old. But I will also be watching Melrose Place no doubt! And I didn’t know they had another NCIS. Gah.

OH and I forgot to say…PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR UNWANTED FALL! I am still dying from heat here and I miss fall!

I put the fall premieres (new and returning) on my google calendar this week. Not too many I’m interested in. Fewer I will probably stick with watching. Noted to watch:
Top Chef (which doesn’t start here till Monday)
Vampire Diaries (I was such a fan of the books)
Glee
Big Bang Theory
FlashForward
The Good Wife
30 Rock
Canada’s Worst Driver
So, if we’re not especially interested in many TV series (my hubby’s into fewer than I am), why is our TV on so much of the time?
[Reply]
We do not get any American shows here except MTV so lets say I’m super excited for a new season of Pimp my Ride and Super Sweet 16 and lets not forget Hogan knows best…please don’t be jealous of my TV option!! I love fall because of Candy corn and my birthday whoo hoo! I love wearing sweater and making soup and the crisp air. I certain want Taylor Kinney to rake my leaves! Have a wonderful Labor day weekend.
[Reply]
I would hire Joseph Fiennes.
[Reply]
Well we are leaving winter behind and moving into gorgeous spring days. bring on the heat. We don’t usually get your new shows until they are proven worthy in the states, so you will have to let me know what is worth watching!
Not sure we need anything more ‘vampire’ but hello look at those eyes on Ian Somerhalder. I’d watch for those!!!
[Reply]
I love the fall for its temperatures and its colors! Gorge’! As for the sexy guys.. i say pick Joseph Fiennes and Alex O’Loughlin
Aloha Friday!

I will not be watching any of these shows. I rarely have the telly on.

I think Vampire Diaries and NCIS: Los Angeles are joining my already-packed DVR list.
[Reply]
We are actually toying with getting rid of cable, so not too sure what I will or won’t be able to catch online. Of course, I have fond memories of Chris O’Donnell from his movie days

I am such a non t.v. watcher. I only watch two shows, Idol and Survivor and I’m excited for both of them to begin again.
[Reply]
didn’t Nip/Tuck have its series finale? I think it did. I am intrigued by the Flash Forward and Trauma nd Mercy. Big Love will be back soon, too. Yeah, I defintely need a life.
[Reply]
I am anxious to see NCIS and the New NCIS that is coming out. My favorite fall activity is driving and looking at the leaves change colors and apple picking. I do a lot of baking in fall.
[Reply]
I think the shows I’m most looking forward to are Bones and Grey’s Anatomy.
I think my favorite thing about fall is the food – apple cider, egg nog, PIE
Gotta say my favorite in the list above would be Ian Somerhalder in Vampire Diaries – yum!

I’m waiting to see what happens on Private Practice. I love The Mentalist and Southland too. New shows — hmmm…V!! There is a blast from the past. I’d like to check out Trauma, Three Rivers, The Good Wife, and The Forgotten. What is with all the prime time teenager shows anyway?
Fall = football, Halloween, Pumpkin Spice Latte, and playing in the leaves. NOTHING is better than fall.
I like that cute little Daniel Henney ! Holy moley. Any of them are welcome to show up and they don’t have to bring the rake…
[Reply]
Your guys are okay…but I’m really excited that Robert Buckley joined the cast of One Tree Hill. I’m sad that the characters of Peyton and Lucas left…but he is a great addition!

What shows are you most looking forward to watching this fall? – I am so excited for Survivor to be back, and for SYTYCD – also I am looking forward to Community, Mercy, and just some of my favorites returning like CSI:Miami, Next Top Model and such
What do you like best about fall? Favorite fall activity? – I think the cool weather is the best and I love to enjoy a nice fall walk.
Which guy above would you like to hire to rake your leaves? Michael Rady – he has a Jason Mraz look going on.
[Reply]
Well, I love Greys Anatomy, Brothers & Sisters, & PRivate Practice. Also really like Castle and army wives though I often miss them b/c I can’t stay up that late everynight.
I love everything about fall, its my fave part of the year
I think I will still take one of the Ryans to rake my leaves…..
[Reply]
I love fall so there are tons of things I love. I probably won’t get to watch much tv due to school. blah!
[Reply]
oh i liked michael rady on greek, he was so adorable. i think his style has changed just a bit to be on ‘melrose place’, haha.
[Reply]
Michael Rady! I can not wait to see him. I loved him in Traveling Pants and Greek. And his character on Melrose Place seems to be very likable.
[Reply]
I’m going to go with Chris O’Donnell from NCIS LA. I love the original, and have a thing for cops on crime shows.
Favorite Fall activity? Just being outside without heat and sunblock is good enough for me!
[Reply]
Chris O’Donnell can rake my leaves anytime!
[Reply]
Alex O’Loughlin in the upcoming Three Rivers is on my “gotta watch” list and oh boy would I LOVE to have him rake my leaves! Best thing about fall? The smell, clean, fresh and dry. An extra bonus: someone sneaking in a little bit of burning leaves!
[Reply]
If the Vampire Diaries are half as romantic and interesting as Twilight I’m in!
[Reply]
I love everything about fall, and I’m anxiously awaiting the new fall TV season!
I would LOVE to have Alex O’Laughlin rake my leaves….with jeans…and no shirt.
[Reply]
Oh me oh my! The Vampire Diaries dude is pretty easy on the eyes…grrrowl!
[Reply]
So excited for NCIS and House to come back. And yum! Chris O’Donnell in NCIS: LA. Very excited for that!
I love the rain that comes with fall. I’m totally a Northwest girl, and love me the smell and sound and feel of rain.
[Reply]
Oh man, Chris O’Donell is lookin’ good! I’ve always had a little crush on him! But that guy from the Trauma show is pretty hot too! I haven’t done a lot of research on the new shows so I’m excited to see what’s coming out.
[Reply]
So I have been on this mad search to find out how old Taylor Kinney is… I CAN’T FIND IT ANY WHERE! Does anyone know how old he is?
