Friday Eye Candy: The Look-a-Like Edition
This past weekend I was watching the movie Monster in Law on cable (not the best movie but there was nothing else on) and I said to my husband, “Is that Josh Lucas?”
He looks at the screen quizzically and says “No, isn’t that Bradley Cooper?”
And I’m all, “It can’t be Bradley Cooper because Bradley Cooper was in The Hangover and that is definitely NOT the same guy.”
After a quick search on IMDB, we found out that it was neither Josh, nor was it Bradley. It was Michael Vartan. I don’t know about you but I have the worst time keeping the the three of them straight. I don’t know if it is the blond hair or what but they all just sort of get mushed together in sea of hotness.
I figured I might not be alone in my confusion so I thought we could take a closer look at each of the guys and try to get to know them a little better.
As far as who’s the hottest, I’ll let you be the judge..
Bachelor #1–Josh Lucas
Best Known Role….Sweet Home Alabama
Currently Dating….Rachel McAdams (sniff, sniff…McGosling forever!!!)
Bachelor #2–Bradley Cooper
Best Known for his role in Wedding Crashers where he played Rachel McAdams jerky boyfriend (which adds to the confusion factor since Josh is dating Rachel in real life.) He also had a few episodes on Alias which makes things confusing since Michael starred on that show. Now I’m starting to feel a little better about mixing them up.
Currently…He can be seen in The Hangover in theaters (which I saw and thought was pretty funny) and on dvd in He’s Just Not That Into You (very cute!).
Dating…Rumors flew a few weeks ago about him and Jennifer Aniston but they both denied it, so who knows.
Bachelor #3– Michael Vartan
Best Known For…His role on the show Alias
Currently…He can be found on the show Hawthorne playing Dr. Tom Wakefield
Dating…Who knows? He did date Jennifer Garner but I have no clue about his love life now.

I’m going to have to go with Josh Lucas (as much as it pains me to say this). Even though he is in the way of a Rachel/Ryan reunion, you can’t take away his tremendous good looks. So sexy!
Plus, Bradley Cooper has annoyed me in every role I’ve seen him (The Hangover, He’s Just Not That Into You and Wedding Crashers).

I would say Bradley Cooper but I agree with Jen. His roles have been very disappointing and he continues to create a niche for himself in hollywood as the “jerk” in every movie. What happened to Will Tippin in Alias? He was so adorkable and gorgeous. Where did we go wrong???
I used to love Michael Vartan, but I’ll choose Josh Lucas here. He is so yummy and I love him in Sweet Home Alabama! And if he can snag McAdams…

I have to go with Michael Vartan. He’ s super hot and I am a big fan of the show, Alias. I also feel bad for him that Jen left him for Ben. Even though she left Scott for him. Hollywood is crazy! Have a wonderful weekend and take care.

They are all hotties…but my choice, no doubt is Bradley. He has played some jerks…but it seems in real life he is just a nice, normal guy. Do some research online about him, you will be pleasantly suprised. He is nothing like his characters. In fact his character in The Hangover (this will not ruin the movie , for those who have not seen it) , well his character is a typical shit talker guy’s guy…and Bradley actually asked them to add to a scene near the end where the guys are all sitting around…he asked them the have his character Phil, holding his sleeping son. He also had a quick cute scene with his wife. Though he was the “jerky” guy , he was actually family man. He said he wanted his character to be retroactively likeable. I thought that was sweet. I think he knows he got put into the “jerk” guy niche and maybe wants to show a different side. He has quite a few movies coming, and Im sure will continue to since the success of The Hangover. I would like to see him in a nicer guy role…not too nice…bad boys are hot…but nicer than Sack in Wedding Crashers…LOL.
I would also like to see him do some drama and more sex scenes…lots more sex scenes!

That picture of Bradley in the bathtub is awfully yummy….. but, my vote is going with Michael…… there’s something about him that I just love!

Michael Vartan is without a doubt my favorite – I was thinking it would be a tough call and then I saw just one picture of Vartan and my heart flopped over – lmao – And now I want to re-rent the entire series of Alias.
I have a hard time telling the other two apart also but Michael Vartan is hard for me to mistake because “He’s VAUGHN!” lol

Hard to say….they’re all pretty damn hot.
Of the three I’d say I dig Michael Vartan the best for unusual reasons. I’m a total francophile and he’s 1/2 french. Lived in france till he was a teen actually. That helps with the hot factor for me. Plus I was completely addicted to Alias.

Bradley Cooper , tjhough not French by heritage, he did go abroad as a foreign exchange student to France. He speaks French fluently. They are both on Alias and they are good friend in real life….HOT!

Back in high school, about seven years ago (wait, seven years…really? wow…), my friends and I were OBSESSED with Alias (mostly because of Michael Vartan). We once had a Michael Vartan marathon (numerous episodes of Alias, Never Been Kissed and It Had to Be You). So I’m going to have to go with Michael Vartan…though Bradley Cooper has definitely grown on me in recent years.
