Totally Random Thoughts Tuesday
- I feel like I’ve totally lost my blogging groove while I was working those three weeks. Every time I sit down to write I am hit with a case of Blogblockeritis. The symptoms are staring at the computer screen in complete dismay over having nothing of value to write about, writing a few lines, thinking they are incredibly awful and quickly deleting, and having a ton of unfinished posts in your draft folder. I think it is contagious so you better not get too close.
- A much more positive thing happened while I was working. I think I am now ready to go back to teaching again.

After about a 9 year hiatus, I am suddenly feeling the urge to get back into the classroom. I forgot all the things that I loved about the job and only focused on the things that I didn’t like when I would reflect on it. There is really a lot to love and it is such a fun and rewarding profession. This summer I need to figure out what classes I need to take to get re-certified.
- I’ve been having some really weird dreams (actually nightmares) lately. Last night, it was something about burglars and I don’t mean the charming Hamburglar-like guys. I’m talking the scary, break into your house and terrorize your family type. I don’t exactly remember the details but it was definitely unpleasant. The night before my brakes went out on my van. And a few nights before that it was snakes. Poisonous venom-spitting snakes. Usually I am totally able to control my dreams and make them work in my favor (think make out sessions with James McAvoy kind of dreams) so I am really not liking this turn of events.
- These photos of Rob Pattinson being attacked by female fans really disturb me.
Ladies, this is completely unacceptable. Step the heck back! And what is the deal with these body guards?!! Are they not paid to prevent this madness from happening in the first place. Wake up guys! Better yet, Rob, I think you should fire these knuckleheads and let me and my friend Kate take over. I can assure you that we will do a much better job at keeping these skanks off of you.
- While we are on the subject of disturbing images, here are two more that will forever be burned into my mind.
I know the first one is kind of old but I am thinking that this is what might be responsible for all my nightmares. I wish I never would have watched the Joe Jonas Single Ladies video. I fear I will never fully recover.

And then today I am hit with Michael Phelps and his Pornstache. Why God, why???
- Now for something more pleasant….tomorrow we are taking the family to Kings Dominion in VA for the day. I love amusement parks–just LOVE them!! I have a very special guest post from McMommy planned. You definitely don’t want to miss this so make sure that you come back to check it out.

I was working at my kids’ school with two kids in second grade. They both had severe learning disabilities (pretty sure the one is dyslexic). Anyway, they needed a personal asst and I thought I’d give it a try. I will be working with the kids next year, but only part-time. I’m sharing the position with another mom.

Oh dear lord I clicked it. I couldn’t help it. You told me not to. I always thought Joe Jonas was weird and this just ups the ante. I’m waiting for the day he comes out of the closet.
ok, and what’s more disturbing than anything about the RPatz pics is that the mob looks to all be Over their teenaged years. I mean, seriously ladies!!! Control yourselves!

I would like to think that if I ever had the luck of actually seeing Ryan Gosling on the street that I would be able to control myself from attacking him the way these idiots are doing to poor Rob. I still have some dignity left.
