Honestly, I’ve set this day aside to mourn the loss of a piece of my childhood. I feel deep empathy for his family as well. So today I’m setting aside any of the negative. Just like someone said in the memorial, we’ll have eternity to pick Michael Jackson apart, so I choose to hold him up positively today.

and even in light of the negative, I really honestly truly do not believe he is a bad person. He is a strange person, sure, but in light of how he was forced to spend his childhood, I can understand him being a little weird. And that’s as far as I’ll go today on the negativity.

I did watch. And I cried a lot. I haven’t been a fan over 10 years, but I cried still. And I thought I had pulled myself back together until Paris spoke and broke down. That’s when I completely lost it. I feel such sorrow for those children. I can only hope that the Jackson family will continue to protect them from the media barrage.

I think we all try to remember the good stuff and see him as a good person cuz, in my personal opinion, I want him to be in heaven… thats it, thats why I keep thinkking that despite all the bad things he might have done, I want him and every person to really rest in peace and be with God.

I won’t be watching today… After two weeks of the same stories being played over and over and over, I’m sick of all the coverage- there HAS to be more important news out there.
