What The World Needs Now…

I have given it some thought and have decided that what the world needs now is….more Keanu Reeves.

And I’m not talking about the straggly, bearded, weird-looking Keanu.

keanu-beard

Oh, God no!  That Keanu can stay in his basement where he belongs.

I want more of THIS Keanu:

keanu-private-lives

This is a photo of a scene from his new movie The Private Lives of Pippa Lee. The movie looks incredibly depressing (as most indie movies usually are) but Keanu looks absolutely BEAUTIFUL in it.

Seeing the trailer may have just been the spark to reignite my Ye Ole Keanu Crush of 1989 and make me forget all about the horrors of Weird Bearded Guy of 2009.

Oh yes, way before he made Speed and The Matrix, I was totally smitten for him.  And it was all because of a little music video that he made with Paula Abdul:

Sidenote: I will go down on record and say that Rush, Rush is the best video to ever appear on MTV.  I know most will argue, “But what about Thriller?”  I’m sorry, but Keanu was not in Thriller.  End of argument.

Now for Summer of Keanu-Love 2009:

I think my favorite movie of Keanu would have to be A Walk in the Clouds.  It was such a sexy, romantic movie and there was plenty of Keanu-goodness in it.  The fact that it is all about wine-making is just an added bonus.

What is your favorite Keanu movie?

On a scale of 1-10 (ten being the most sexy and one being the least sexy), where do you rate Keanu?

Ok, I’ll fess up. I watch A Walk In The Clouds every single time I randomly find it on cable. It’s just a beautiful movie. It makes me want to move to Napa and become a Mexican wine heiress.

And I can’t believe you just brought up Rush, Rush. I spent an entire summer watching that music video over and over again back when MTV actually played music videos all day long. I watched Rebel Without A Cause because it was based on that cheesy music video and you know what…I liked the video better.

There’s something wrong with me. I’m fully aware.

I know you won’t understand this but I can’t stand the boy, as an actor I mean, her really is painful to watch like William Shatner painful, but I do love A Walk In The Clouds but I think that’s because I’m Mexican.

Yeah, he’s not the best actor in the world.

I really like him in Something’s Gotta Give though. He played the most human I’ve ever seen! And A Walk in the Clouds is wonderful too!

I think if he didn’t seem to be trying so hard he would be a better actor…

A Walk in the Clouds. I love that film. I know he’s not the world’s greatest actor, but there is something about him.

    LOVED the Matrix.

I have always, always loved Keanu – he’s a 10+ to me (I’ll even take the straggly bearded Keanu).

One of my favorite Keanu movies is a more recent one – Street Kings. I like that he’s kinda a bad-a$$ cop. Very hot! Also loved him in ‘Something’s Gotta Give’ and ‘Sweet November’. I’m anxious to check out this new movie trailer, I haven’t heard of that one yet.

I fell in love w/ Keanu during the movie Point Break. Loved the action and loved how he “risked his life” to be with the one he loved ;-)

My favorite Keanu would have to be Sweet November. Lovelovelove that movie.

On a scale of 1 to 10, I give him a 9. I took off a point for the fact that no matter how hot he is, there is still somewhat of a weird factor that I can’t get use to.

The Matrix movies are my favs. I watch them with the sound off. I just like to stare at Keanu.

Oh and he need to promise to NOT EVER do another Dracula/vampire movie! Ever! I almost swore off of him completely after Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Yuck!

Now you have me singing “rush rush” in my head…Keanu is so very easy to love, isn’t he? I do laugh, though, when I remember him in Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure…
