Hehehe…yes, hubs had a bachelor party. It involved him wearing an embarassing shirt (his friends got a picture of me hiking, and screened it onto a shirt, with a caption that went something like “this is gonna be my wife!!”) and then took him bowling.

Really shady, aren’t they?

Hubby’s bachelor party consisted of him and all his friends going to the local strip club…. which is fine with me, big ass bouncers will beat you up while ejecting you from the premesis if you touch a stripper…… and drinking beer. Real exciting, but it’s what he and all his buddies have done each time one has gotten married……. real original, huh???

My husband and some of his friends went ot the local “caberet” if you know what I mean. But that was all and not really big deal to me. But as far as the last “fling” thing goes… HELL NO!!!!

And I had a bachelorette party but it just consisted of us girls going out for drinks and food downtown. No strippers, but then my girls knew I was NOT into that kinda thing.

I’m cool with a stripper for a bachelor party, even a boys only trip to Vegas, but only if it is just strippin’. A last fling or too much touchey feely with the stripper or any other female gets a big Hell No from me. And honestly, I hope I don’t fall in love with a man who would do that.

The best Bachelor/Bachelorette party I ever went to was a joint one for the bride and groom. We all went out to a friend’s house in the woods and smoked a lot of pot and drank a lot of alcohol. And we all Definately looked like we had done just that for the wedding the next day, hahahaha! it was good times.

My husband would NEVER have had a bachelor party, but if he did I would probably be okay with it. For he is far more conservative than I could ever be, so there wouldn’t be strippers. Or probably even alcohol.

My husband… sort of… had a bachelors party. He and his fellow geek friends went hiking and they called it a bachelors party. If you look at it in a “last night as a bachelor doing what he normally does with friends…” kind of way then he did. He’d have been just as uncomfortable with a real bachelors party as I would have been knowing about it. At least that’s what he tells me.

I don’t blame you at all – I don’t think I’d have wanted to plan it either.

My husband’s ‘best man’ was a woman, his good friend from acting school. We called her the Attendent of Honor instead of the best man. But she did wear a tux.

Anyway, she and I planned a surprise ‘bachelor party’ for my husband at our apartment. It was just a get-together of both genders – a really great time had by all.

One-last-hurrah with the undesirables doesn’t seem to bode very well for the marriage-to-be, if you ask me.

My husband’s bachelor party was poker night with the guys. Alcohol and cards. No strippers. My bachelorette party was crafty – making bags to carry stuff to the church the next day and watching 13 Going on 30. We were going to try and choreograph a dance to the Thriller song like in the movie, but it was just way too long. Oh, and went to bed early. Cuz I’m a wuss.
