So what is this blog all about?  I just wanted a place to rest my thoughts for the day.  It will be a collection of completely unrelated topics–a hodgepodge of the things that interest me.  If you are interested in any of the following topics, you may want to subscribe:

1. Must See Movies (and ones to run away from screaming)
2. Books, Books and More Books (I love to read and my husband–not so much.  So I need somewhere to blab about the books I’m reading.)
3. Frugal Finds–Because I’m cheap. Period.
4. Inexpensive Wine Recommendations –See #3
5. Getting Organized–I’m not a complete slob, but there is definitely room for improvement here.
6. Travel Stories–I work in the travel industry as a family travel planning specialist.  I love to see new places, so why not share my experiences here. 
7. Pop Culture/Current Events–I can’t promise too much on this front because there are so many other places to get this kind of info and I don’t want to try to even think about keeping up with everything that is going on in the world.  For the record, I’m an independent with both conservative and liberal views on things.

I can tell you one thing you won’t see on this blog and that is pics of my kids.  There are enough cute “mommy” sites out there and to be honest, my kids aren’t that cute.  Just kidding.  They’re adorable, but I’m keeping them all to myself.

I hope to post regularly (hence the name DAILY Mish Mash), but we’ll see.
