Make Me Laugh Monday: Sex Criminal Fashions
If you’re a parent and haven’t already done so, make sure to visit the Sex Offender Registry website. It’s always good to know if you have a pedophile living on your street.
Now, this is an important topic, and one that should be taken very seriously. It’s not necessarily one you would really expect to find on a Make Me Laugh Monday Post.
But did you ever notice how all the sex offenders have a similar look to them? It is almost like they shopped at the same store or read the same fashion magazine. I found a video that parodies this topic perfectly.
!!Caution: This one has some adult language and humor, so watch without the kids (oh and I think it goes without saying that I don’t endorse sexual offenders or their fashion choices).
So let’s get something straight–
Making fun of sexual abuse–NOT FUNNY!
Making fun of sex offenders and their “personal style”–VERY FUNNY!

Got something to say?

HOOOOLLLYEEEEEE crap, there are 590 offenders right around us!! :O
Ooooh, that was creep - and so true. It’s the same with wife beater’s, don’t you think?
Smellyann - GAWD, that’s creepy! The closest one to us is over 10 miles away, ironicallly, in my old babysitter’s neighborhood.
That video clip: TOO WEIRD!! But hey, thanks for sharing the offenders registry - although I’m thinking it’s not all inclusive because it’s missing a couple obvious ones in my community. (Of course maybe they moved to your community instead)
I feel kind skeevy laughing at it, but that was indeed hilarious.
And…for some reason, sex offenders always choose to live in my little community…I think it’s b/c it’s so diverse and tolerant, they think they’ll fit in here. Yuck.
Okay, it’s funny because it’s true! I’ve got to get a serial killer van, because it is seriously awesome. But I’d paint it and pimp it out to look like the A Team van.
Oh my gosh…so incredibly funny and so wrong, all at the same time.
although, I’m a wee bit scared to click on the registry. I wanna know but at the same time don’t. I’m already way too keen to put my house on the market, this would just put that urge into ovedrive.
Not to go and get all serious on ya, but I was just having a conversation about this with a friend. About how I get all scared and suspicious of a certain type of person, but show me an older gentleman in nice khakis and I trust him way too much. “Oh he looks so NORMAL,” I think. But what IS normal? And does a creep beard a pedophile make? Deep thoughts here on Make Me Laugh Monday. Sorry about that.
I seriously loved it! That is my kind of humor.
I LOL at the serial killer van- isn’t that always the case. T
here was a publicized case a few months ago where a woman from my town go kidnapped & killed in Georgia, by a serial killer. He held her in the van for a few days, and of course, the van looked just like that. Not that this is funny, but it is like it is more often than not- they have a van.
The weird guy hat was funny too. I think we all know or have seen someone like that.
Oh, and just another little side note- we have a family friend who uh, because he was dumb, & did not verify a girl he was dating, age- she seriously looked like she was in her late 20’s- but ended up only being 16, he HAD to register as a sex offender, when it was all said and done. He is the sweetest guy- but obviously made a bad decision. Not all sex offenders are creepy guys out to get your kids- some are women too, and may have just made a one-time bad decision that they deeply regret.
HTH if you are living w/ a lot in your community. Not that you shouldn’t be careful- but they may not all be violent sex stalkers.
There’s about 500 reasons to stock up on razors !
